This movement methodology investigates the agility of the body for its movement in and through space. Understanding agility as the most efficient mode to use the skeletal structure in relation to musculature and gravity. Understanding agility as the most efficient mode to use the skeletal structure in relation to musculature and gravity.

Not only do I believe that time is fundamental in the process of acquiring knowledge, but also the building of a community around the process of study.

The basis of this methodology has to do with the possibility of observing what happens when I place myself in relation to different materials (observing what happens in my body and the bodies of others). From there, deducing to incorporate and learn from the individual and group’s experience.

Feldenkrais and Dance

These classes take place in EspacioTiempo Wednesdays from 17:00h to 18:15h.

After finishing the Feldenkrais Method training, I had the desire to combine the disciplines of contemporary dance and the Feldenkrais Method.

I began to draw connections between these practices, which have formed part of my training for more than ten years.
Finding the tools that permit the practices to enhance one another.

Many of these tools have to do with observation; quality of movement; repercussion of a single movement in the entirety of the physical structure and autoregulation during the practice.
Considering attention as a principal theme which bridges the practices.

During the class, I share an ATM (Feldenkrais Method class), then guide the students to danced movements, departing from the ATM content.
